Thesis also allows you to edit your core files such as custom.css without making changes in the wordpress editor. Here are some of the Thesis Options you can use with Wordpress:
Design options such as Meta descriptions and keywords for your your home page or any other page, publishing and admin options, the option to choose which pages to include in the navigation menu and the ability to add tracking code to your header or footer
Multimedia Box: You can switch this off and simply select the number of columns you want. But if you want to add images, video or code, the Multimedia Box allows you to add them with one click – you only have to resize them to the correct width
Thesis also gives you the option to add titles and links to the Rotating images
Here are some Design Options you have with Thesis:
Fonts and Font Sizes: Thesis lets you select different fonts and sizes for different areas such as the main content area, navigation menu, multimedia box, sub-headlines, sidebars and footer
Columns and widths: You can select one, two or three coulmns and their widths. You can also choose their order – so, for example, you could have the content column on the left, middle or right side of the page. In addition, with Thesis 1.5 you can select any width you want for your content and sidebars
Framework options: You can choose page or full-width
SEO and Thesis
You don’t need any additional SEO plugins when using Thesis. Its not always necessary, but if you want to, Thesis gives you the ability to add your own Title Tag, Meta Description and Meta Keywords to improve your SEO
Using the Thesis Hook System
With Hooks, Thesis lets you insert code into different locations on your site. This means that you can add any kind of content such as text, images or other code wherever you want to place it – for example: before or after the header, before or after post content, before or after posts, after the multimedia box, before or after the sidebars or before the footer
This process is made easy by using the Open Hook plugin – paste in the code and you can add content wherever you want on your site
